Getting fit both spiritually and physically

Got a little challenge I am doing starting today. I want to share. More than anything, for accountability. This is a 5 week challenge through www.peak313.com called Living and Active. Peak313.com I will be checking in at least once a week to let you know how I did. The goal is to do a minimum of 4 workouts of at least 25 minutes each. Since I have been running again, that shouldn't be a problem. I run 3 miles and it takes WAY more than 25 minutes. Someday....maybe.... Ah-hem, stop dreaming. Anyway, I have to come up with a number 4 workout. James wants me to start doing some strength training, so I guess I can do that, but yuck. I guess it would help my flabby arms, right?? So, I say all this to let you know, that as I check in on at least Mondays, I will let you know, how many miles I ran, how much time it took me, what my extra workout was and I will also let you know how much Bible reading I did. Please drop me a word of encouragement if you have the time. I could use it. Be blessed. Until we read again...

Awesome plan. I just happened to check on your blog today. You hadnt posted in a while, so I hadnt been looking everyday. But now I will check in on your progress every monday. Good luck with the new program. Im excited for your willingness to step out and ask for accountability.

Thanks Andy! I added an app where you can get it delivered to your email if you want. Then you don't have to come back and check all the time. I feel like God is calling me back to write again. Who am I to say no, right... Thanks for checking!

Way to go girl! I've started walking everyday and I feel so much better. We have a big open field on one side of our house and I do laps around that because we live on a highway- 55MPH- with no sidewalks so walking on the road is dangerous. Anyway, I have no idea what kind of distance I get but I walk for about 30 minutes at a pretty good clip. Bible reading- 20-30 minutes every day. Love that, my favorite time of the day. Keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing how you do :)
